Arrival at Marrakech airport, where you will be transferred to your accommodation. As part of your free afternoon program, you will explore the area near your accommodation. Koutoubia Mosque, one of the most significant Islamic buildings in the history of Morocco. This is the largest mosque in Marrakech, located near Jemaa El Fna Square. The famous Jemaa El Fna Square is the heart of Marrakech, where visitors can find numerous street vendors, traditional markets, street performers, snake charmers, henna artists, and culinary specialties. Breakfast at the hotel and then departure for the mountains. The journey takes place in the High Atlas Mountains, where rocky landscapes, breathtaking panoramas, and mountain villages color the route. We pass through the Tizi N'Tichka Pass, one of the most impressive mountain passes in Morocco, located in the High Atlas Mountains. At 2,260 meters above sea level, it is the highest road corridor in the country and connects Marrakech, Ouarzazate, and the southern regions. A brief stop in Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa," a famous filming location. Here is the Atlas Film Studio, where many Hollywood productions have been made. Ait Benhaddou is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its unique adobe architecture, this settlement once dominated the caravan routes between Marrakech and Timbuktu and, thanks to its strategic location, was an important hub for trade routes. Today, it has become a filming location for films such as Pearl of the Nile Gladiator Jesus of Nazareth Lawrence of Arabia The Mummy and Game of Thrones. En route, there will be an opportunity to have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we arrive at our comfortable accommodation. (Overnight stay with breakfast)
After breakfast, we depart Ouarzazate heading south through the Draa Valley, famous for having one of the largest palm groves in the world. During the journey, we will pass through traditional Berber villages and enjoy the stunning unspoiled beauty of the Draa River Valley. In the afternoon, we arrive in Zagora, a less-visited tourist destination, offering a more peaceful and authentic experience. Here, the sand dunes and the desert charm are less marked by human traces, giving the place a special atmosphere. We will observe the daily life of the local Berber communities and gain a glimpse of their customs and traditions. We will spend the night in Zagora in comfortable accommodation, where we will enjoy a traditional dinner. (Overnight stay with breakfast and dinner)
After breakfast, we head into the heart of the desert and arrive at the desert village of Mhamid El Ghizlane. We visit Bedouin families who still follow the traditional way of life in the desert. We learn about their daily lives, their habits, and their way of life for survival. We then ride camels and cross the sand dunes. At the end of the day, weather permitting, we can enjoy a magnificent sunset among the sand dunes, and then spend the night in a desert camp, where we can experience true desert hospitality. After breakfast, we will depart from the village of Mhamid El Ghizlane towards Tata, crossing the stunning landscape of the Draa Valley. Tata is a charming and peaceful little town that enchants its visitors with its authentic Moroccan atmosphere and pristine surroundings. After your arrival, you'll have free time in the afternoon to explore the city: You can walk the quiet streets, enjoy the tranquility of the city, and have the opportunity to visit the local souk (market). Or you can simply relax in the welcoming neighborhood spaces. At the end of the day, we'll return to your accommodation where dinner and rest await you. (Accommodation includes breakfast and dinner)
We will depart from the town of Tata towards the city of Agadir. The route stretches for 230 km. This route passes through the picturesque area of Giliya, characterized by beautiful landscapes and a group of oasis in the middle of the mountains. Arrival in Agadir, a coastal city located on the Atlantic Ocean and considered one of the most important tourist cities in Morocco. Overnight here. (Overnight with breakfast)
